These images shows HST and JWST side by side. In JWST the stars are snowflaked shaped because the mirrors are hexagonal. The JWST is about 5 hours and the HST is about 45 hours (giving an idea of the sensitivity) but the wavelength of the JWST is longer than HST so to do same image with HST is impossible and where the two overlap in wavelength JWST is probably about 100 times more sensitive, so it is a new world. The stars indicated with squares are white dwarfs.
